    What types of aquariums...

Hey guys. I'm hoping to open some discussion here and see what types of fish and aquariums everyone keeps? I have kept all types of freshwater fish over the years. I'm partial to amazonian catfish and large characins, but at the moment after moving cross-country I just have one small 20-gallon aquarium. I have some Panda Cory's, Red-Eyed Tetras and a pair of Bolivian Rams.

    So what do you keep?

    Mike

I have been a freshwater aquaruim fanatic since I was 6 years old and have kept and bred so many kinds of fish I can barely recall. At the moment I am fully into Amazon planted aquariums and my current pride and joy is my 65G Amazon Angelfish community tank with three pairs of Scalare and lots of little tetras, coris, bristlenose and some Platies for free live food.
Also have a 30G with Apisto's, tetras etc. and a 10G with some rummy nose and cories.

Freshwater aquarium, including fish, originally from rivers and streams, may retain some minor changes in the normal tap water to meet the fish. Freshwater Aquarium consists of two settings, as tropical fish and cold water aquarium by type.

If your jaw fish go missing for days, don't overreact and imagine the worst - and definitely don't start taking the tank apart. Jaw fishes can easily go a week to 10 days without feeding. More often than not, they're still there, hiding and doing whatever it is fish do when they want to remain out of the limelight. And if indeed the worst has occurred, their mass is small enough that scavengers and decomposers will clean up the remains without incident.
