There may still be one or two more wild strains. I so prefer the wild strains over the in-bred(sorry, "selectively bred") colored and marbled varieties. I have Scalare and in a healthy planted aquarium they just look amazing.

I origionally had four angels, about 4" tall- if I noticed that two of them continously spent their time charwoman an undergravel clarify lift tube. The eggs were laid, fertilized, and we were off.

If you plan to have in your house, aquarium angelfish, you must remember this is the whole process started in previous years an important and indispensable factor. Like other fish, angel fish need proper care, a good environment and healthy living water conditions. If they can not get these, they will not thrive and will die soon.

Yeah i agree with Drrew. We have to give time in order to maintain the healthy fishes in our aquarium..
fishes are like a baby that needs proper care..

Those are some beautiful Angels! I have one myself that's marble black in color with longer fins. Have you bred your Angelfish? Thanks for sharing.
