Notes
|
Columbian Tetras are a great school Characin species that do best in groups of six or more. They are slightly larger and more aggressive than most tetras, which must be taken into consideration when choosing tankmates. Slower-moving, non-aggressive fish may be nipped at.
Feed a varied diet and provide an aquarium of at least 20 gallons, preferably more as the fish should be kept in schools. This fish has gained popularity since it was officially recognized as its own species in the early 2002.
