Notes
|
The Blue Emperor Tetra is a small characin that adds life to smaller community aquariums. At only one inch when fully-grown, they should not be kept with any fish large enough to make a meal out of them.
A large aquarium is obviously not a requirement for a fish of this size, though twenty gallons or more would be recommended for a school of six or more tetras, and these fish should most definitely be kept in schools.
Feed a standard diet of flake and freeze-dried foods.
