Potamotrygon falkneri, or the Largespot River Stingray, is a Ray that is very rarely seen in the aquaria hobby. They are closely related to other freshwater stingrays such as P. motoro and the like, and should be cared for in much the same way.
Growing to 18" in length, this Stingray requires a large tank and should do well in aquariums with other large amazonian fish such as Pimelodid cats and Arowanas. Provide a sandy substrate for the fish to burrow and feel at home.
