Notes

The Rosette River Stingray, or Flower Ray, is a very large South American Stingray from the Amazon basin. This Ray is rare in the hobby and often only available through captive breeders. P. schroederi is the "true" Flower Ray, as other species are sometimes sold under the name of Flower Ray as well.
This fish requires a large aquarium with a lot of open-swimming area and a sandy substrate. At 24" plus a long tail, it is understandable that the size of the aquarium is very important in order for the fish to thrive. Tankmates should be other large fish, preferrably not overly aggressive. Arowanas and Pacus make ideal tankmates provided the aquarium is large enough.
Feed sinking meaty foods and care for the fish in the usual freshwater Stingray fashion.
