Notes
|
Vieja heterospila is a medium-sized Cichlid from Central America. The coloration and personality of this fish makes it a favorite amongst those who have kept it, though it is not overly common in the hobby.
The Heterospila is more mild mannered than other Vieja sp., and can do quite well in an aquarium with similar-sized fish of equal temperment. They prefer to have large rocky areas to take cover in, so provide plenty of tank decor.
