Vieja regani, known in the aquarium trade as the Almoloya or Regan's Cichlid, is a medium-large sized Cichlid from Mexico.
This fish are not often seen in the hobby, but make a great addition to the Central American Cichlid aquarium. Provide a tank of at least 55 gallons, and use large rocks and wood for hiding places if possible.
